In response to your letter from 4 Tishrei: You certainly received my previous letter at the appropriate time.... My revered father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita, recited the verses and the blessings before the sounding of the shofar. In general, he feels relatively good.
Enclosed is a maamar that was published recently.
I will conclude with wishes for a happy holiday for yourself and all the members of your household. [Please convey] greetings and holiday blessings to your brother-in-law, R. Shmuel Betzalel Althaus and his family.
