This letter was addressed to R. David Bravman, a chassid who was charged with overseeing the publication of texts of Chassidus in Germany after WWII.B"H, 1 Adar II, 5708Greetings and blessings,
In response to your letter, I will respond in brief because of the holiness of the Shabbos [which is approaching].
Enclosed is the title page for Shaarei Orah, the title page and the introduction to Shaarei HaEmunah, and the negatives for the pages omitted from the Piskei Dinim [of the Tzemach Tzedek]. Obviously, they should be printed black on white....[320]
With regard to other matters, I will write at the next occasion. I am awaiting your letter with detailed responses and good tidings.
- With regard to resources, I again asked R. Benyamin Gorodetzky and also R. Nissan Nemanov [to provide you with funds]. Certainly [the funds] have already reached you.
- Likkutei Torah should be bound in one volume.
- To date, 490 Tanyas, and five [copies of] Sefer HaMaamarim and Pokeiach Ivrim have been received.
- You have surely already sent the copies of Sifreinu to Uruguay as I requested.[321] Please send to [the office of] the committee of [our] branches in Paris, 150 copies each of Sefer HaMaamarim, Sefer HaSichos, and Pokeiach Ivrim; 100 copies of each to R. Benjaminson in London; 50 copies of each to R. Chitrik in Belgium and also 50 Tanyas; 25 copies of each to R. Tzvi Lieberman... and also 25 Tanyas.
- Enclosed is a study schedule that we have published. It would be proper to publicize this study schedule in all the [surrounding] areas.
