No. 356
This letter was addressed to R. Moshe Hecht, the Rebbe's shaliach in New Haven, Connecticut.B"H, 13 Nissan, 5708Greetings and blessings,
Enclosed is the kuntreis for the Pesach holiday which was brought from the binder just now. Certainly you will study it and allow others to gain merit by making it available to them as my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita, desires.
I hope that you and all the members of your household, including your daughter who was born not long ago, are all well.[351]
I conclude with blessings for a kosher and happy Pesach holiday and greetings for all those who seek our welfare,
Rabbi Menachem SchneersonGevald! Reb Moshe, what will be the end result! Mashiach told the Baal Shem Tov that he would come when "the wellsprings of your [teachings] spread outward." He entrusted this purpose to us to carry out, and ultimately, what are we doing? But what [do we do]? We do a favor [by] bearing the difficulties of exile. In the maamar, when the Rebbe Shlita cites the words "the Future Redemption," he immediately adds: "May it come speedily in our days. Amen."
