Greetings and blessings,

I acknowledge receipt of your letter although even before that I had received reports of what is taking place concerning you and the manner in which you are establishing yourself [in your new settings] from your sister and brother-in-law.[400] I took pleasure in gleaning from your writings that you have established yourself both in material and spiritual spheres to the extent that you have also taken the initiative in [joining] the efforts to strengthen Chassidus in particular and the Torah and its mitzvos and the fear of Heaven at large.

With regard to the printed matter you requested, I directed that a package be sent to you under separate cover including Sefer HaMaamarim, Sefer HaSichos, Kuntreis Yud-Beis Tammuz, and the Shmuessen. At the present time, this was sent on the account of Keren HaMitzvos,[401] [a branch of] Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch, for they were sent so that you would make them available to others so that they will gain merit. [This is a temporary arrangement] until you are able to make plans for your community to make payment for the printed material sent to you. For the financial resources of Keren HaMitzvos are very limited and the first priority are those in regional [refugee] camps who have no ability to pay at all.
