The identity of the recipient of this letter was not released.B"H, 18 Adar, 5710Greetings and blessings,
Your letter of Wednesday, Parshas Tetzaveh, was received. The enclosed pan[274] for the boy... was read today at the gravesite of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, hk"m.
The merit of his father's involvement in the proper Jewish education of Jewish children is a fitting [medium] to draw down a complete recovery to his son in the near future.
With regard to what you write concerning hiskashrus: It is incumbent upon all of us to reinforce the hiskashrus which we expressed until now with greater power and greater strength based on the words of our Rebbeim and their directives which are cited in my introduction to the kuntres for Purim which is enclosed.
You will certainly share this kuntres with others and thus the merit of the others will be dependent on you.[275]
With blessing and greetings,
Rabbi Menachem SchneersonNotes:
- (Back to text) [An acronym for pidyon nefesh, a letter written to a Rebbe asking for blessings.]
- (Back to text) [I.e., by sharing the kuntres with others, one enables others to gain merit through studying it. This in turn conveys merit upon the one who enabled that study by sharing the kuntres.]
