Greetings and blessings,

Your letter from 16 Iyar was received. The question of establishing a business that requires only a small investment and [studying] a craft that you could learn in two to three weeks is an advantageous proposition. You should, however, find a trustworthy person to advise you whether it is worth the investment and how to begin the business.

It can be assumed that you will still have free time to continue carrying on the work with the synagogue. This is beneficial both in a spiritual and a material sense.

Please convey [my] regards to the participants in the study session that you arranged in the synagogue and clarify to them that "a tzaddik who passes away is found in all the worlds" — even in our [material] world — "more than in his lifetime,"[459] as is clarified in the introductions to the two enclosed pamphlets.
