This letter was sent to R. Shneur Zalman Levitin.B"H, 6 Menachem Av, 5710Greetings and blessings,
In response to your letter of 25 Tammuz:
I don't see the basis for your panic to leave your [present] community. Since, at the time, my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, hk"m, wrote you, as you quoted in your letter: "For the time being, you should remain in your place and continue your holy work with the students," you should be in a place where the students are. Certainly, the blessing that my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, hk"m, gave you — that G-d will strengthen your health and that of your wife and that you be successful materially and spiritually — will be fulfilled.
When we can act relying on the Rebbe's trustworthiness and with his power, why should one mix in "the deeds of man and his designs"?[675]
May G-d transform these days into gladness and happiness in our time and redeem us with the complete Redemption, by Mashiach, speedily in our days.
