The thirteenth of Tishrei is the yahrzeit of the fourth of the Rebbeim of Chabad, Rabbi Shmuel Schneersohn - the Rebbe Maharash, who [was born in 5594 (1834) and] assumed the leadership in 5626 (1866). He passed away in 5643 (1882), and his resting place is in the village of Lubavitch.[534]
